When the MD gave her the cervical cancer diagnosis, they advised against waiting before beginning medical treatment. She asked for 3 months without traditional treatment before engaging in chemo, to see if her methods would work to heal the cancer. After the complete dietary make over, psycho-therapy, bodily detox cleansing, and the power of God, and Universal goodness in her life she went back in for a check up. Louise was completely free of the cervical cancer! And, she has been cancer free for almost three decades since.

Much of her motivation for trying her healing, releasing and changing sub-conscious painful memories was that after writing the book, You Can Heal Your Life, it seemed to her that it would be hypocritical not to test her own methods to prove to herself and readers that they really worked.
